Sacred Kinship Part 7 (A New Kind of Mission)
Yesterday at New Hope, we finished our series of teachings entitled, “Sacred Kinship”. The focus of this series centers around this notion of biblical kinship and its impact on how we live our faith within the context of family, friendship, community, and mission. This series has helped New Hope to frame a healthy context for life with those we love.
Yesterday’s message was entitled, “A New Kind of Mission”. This week’s message explores the dynamics of pursing God’s mission together. I think it will challenge and form some of our preconceived notions of the role of personal mission in the life of the church. The reality is that our personal mission is secondary in view of God’s kingdom advancement. The unique dynamics of this kind of theology is processed through practical insights into church life. I have come to really appreciate how God’s word provides so many practical insights into building healthy relationships within the context of the Church.
