Sacred Kinship Part 5 (Community aka the Church)
Yesterday at New Hope, we continued our series of teachings entitled, “Sacred Kinship”. The focus of this series centers around this notion of biblical kinship and its impact on how we live our faith within the context of family, friendship, community, and mission. This series is helping to frame a healthy context for life with those we love.
Yesterday’s message was entitled, “Community (aka the Church)”. This week’s message explores the dynamics of living as a community of faith. The more I consider the gift of the Church, even in the midst of its imperfections, I have become more humbled by how God allows us to enjoy one another as a community of faith. I have come to really appreciate how God’s word provides so many practical insights into building healthy relationships within the context of the Church.
