An Evening with T.O.M., Silver Surfer, and JustOne
T.O.M. is a collaborative effort of filmmakers, actors, musicians, artists, and community leaders who desire to become avenues of cultural change through the medium of film and art. As a result, they host an annual film festival for up and coming filmmakers. In addition, they network with non-profit organizations each year to benefit a special social issue. This year, T.O.M. has chosen to address human trafficking with organizations like JustOne, LA Loves, and Stop the Traffik.
At this year’s DVD Release Party, the guest of honor was Doug Jones. You may know him as the Silver Surfer in the movie, Fantastic Four, or from Pan’s Labyrinth. He was there encourage and inspire the filmmakers who had gathered for the night.
The following are some photos from the night:

[The compilation DVD will be available on their website shortly. I will also have some with me as I travel with JustOne. The DVD contains a couple of great short films on the issue of human trafficking.]
