We are thrilled to announce that, as of October 10, 2012, A Child’s Right is operating under a new name: Splash. We want to assure you that, even though our name is different, nothing about who we are or what we do is changing. Our mission, values, core work model, partners, staff, and plans for future growth remain the same.

Why Splash?

In one powerful word, Splash illustrates the potential of clean water to make a difference in children’s lives. Kids need clean water to be healthy, to grow and thrive, to attend school regularly, and to fulfill their potential.

Splash is a bold yet playful organization meeting this compelling need of kids globally.

Why a water drop?

The water drop is an international symbol for water. It crosses not just official borders, but rural/urban, nonprofit/commercial, and more. While there are countless organizations that employ some variation upon this basic symbol, we are the first we know of to embrace it in its most iconic form. In its purity, the water drop represents not only our commitment to the highest standard of water quality, but to transparency and honesty, innovation, and water equality. It would be impossible to trademark the water drop on its own, nor would we want to. Clean, safe water is for everyone. Every child. Everywhere.
