As Grassroots As It Gets! – One Days Wages Turns Two
What can you do with one paid staff, one 10 hr/week contractor, and a 250 square foot office?
How about raise over $850,000 for projects and partnerships around the world that go towards ending extreme poverty? You can’t get more grassroots than that!
Well, my good friend Eugene Cho and his team have done just that. One Day’s Wages is an organization that was birthed just two years ago this month. Thousands have joined them in supporting grassroots organizations around the world who are in the front lines of bringing care and relief to some of the poorest in the world.
As a friend and supporter of ODW, it’s been truly amazing to see the growth and impact of this field-centric organization go from infancy to where it is today.
For their second birthday, I’m asking that you to join me in supporting their operations in order that they may continue to do the work they’ve been so good at doing. You see, 100% of public donations (minus credit card fees) have gone directly to the projects. I think it’s a good opportunity on their anniversary to give towards their operations budget as well (a separate budget from public giving).
Here’s a video by Eugene Cho celebrating year two and inviting us to join him:
