This week’s blog focus on 2010 conferences continues with Exponential Conference (April 19-22) which will take place in Orlando, Florida. To my understanding, this is the largest conference on church planting in the United States. I’m especially excited about this conference for three main reasons:

1. I LOVE church planters! Having been a part of three church plants myself, I understand what it takes to accomplish these God-sized dreams. Although most will not admit themselves, church planters carry a particular heart and posture that truly honors God. I’m so glad Exponential has created space for these often unsung heroes of faith who have given of their lives to serve God’s mission and become tangible expressions of his love for the world.
2. The theme for Exponential’s 2010 conference is “Transformation”. It will focus on the importance of church leaders resonating with the things that God cares for in regards to their own individual soul as well as the city they serve in. With a wide-range of speakers gathering to share their insights on this topic, from numerous perspectives, it should be a wonderful time to refocus, renew, and challenge the hearts and lives of leaders. 3. Exponential has graciously invited Idea Camp to be a partner for the event. Here’s what it means:
   • Idea Camp will be hosting 5 workshops during Exponential with speakers including Mark Batterson, Mark DeYmaz, Janet McMahon, Alan Hirsch, Neil Cole, and others (being confirmed).
   • Idea Camp will stream all of these sessions live during the event. (More information coming)
